Artists

For Lisa, art has always been a constant companion. Junior High and High School were marked by enthusiastic participation in art classes, where she learned the basics of various mediums. In college, she received a degree in Business Management and minored in art. For three decades, she worked as a graphic designer, honing her skills and applying her artistic sensibilities to create captivating designs that left an indelible mark on various projects.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Lisa consistently sought new ways to express herself artistically. She embarked on a journey through a multitude of artistic mediums, including:

  • stained glass
  • oil painting
  • acrylic painting
  • pastels
  • pencil drawings
  • watercolor
  • altered art
  • clay
  • pine needle baskets

This diverse range of mediums not only enriched her artistic skillset but also provided her with a profound appreciation for the boundless ways in which creativity can manifest.

Among Lisa’s many artistic ventures, pine needle basket making emerged as a unique passion. Captivated by the intricate weaving process and the natural beauty of the materials, Lisa is seriously trying to master the art of pine needle basketry. Many hours have been spent exploring patterns, experimenting with different techniques, and pushing the boundaries of what could be achieved with pine needles. This journey led her to create, one-of-a-kind baskets that spoke to the harmony between creativity and nature.
